Nick's Big Day.

This Saturday can only be described as Nick's Day. Sarah was so sick that she could not move. Amelia went to the doctor's office for a check up, got two shots missed her nap and was generally cranky all day. I had to deal with these two, and as Sarah belonged in bed, cancel on Paul and the Road ralleye that I was very much looking forward to.



Nick however had a red letter day. In the morning he had to accompany Amelia and me to Amelia's doctor appointment. And while this doesn't seem all that fun, Nick loved it. He got to play with the toys in the doctor's office yet not get a shot.

Then we went to the toy store to buy a gift for the birthday party that he was invited to today. Of course, Nick loves the toy store.

Then, after a quick lunch, we went to the last soccer game of the season. Nick loves playing soccer and they won. And afterwards the teams got trophies and his team had a party with pizza and a pinata.

When we were done with that, we went home took this picture and Nick went to the aforementioned birthday party for Saul, Nick's friend from down the street. He was there from 3:30 to 8:00. Running around and playing with nine other boys. From the reports that I got from Nick, they had chicken, beans, cake, ice cream, mashed potatoes, jello and two more pinatas.

Not a bad day, don't you think?
