Tough call
Over the Fourth, the family went to see Rataouille. It was a great flick, more for adults and foodies than kids. No annoying cute sidekicks. No pointless songs. Just wonderful. Nick has proclaimed it his favorite of all time.
I've been thinking of it for a couple of days, and I still put The Incredibles on top.

Thanks for the review. Michelle has really been wanting to take Faith and me to see this movie, but I generally try to avoid movies featuring talking animals, regardless if they're animated but especailly if they're live-action, as a general rule-of-thumb (The up-coming Underdog, based on the commercial trailers I have seen so-far, appears to be a perfect example of movies I hate.). I think I have a couple of exceptions to this general rule, but I can't think of any offhand. I'll let Michelle know she can count-me-in for this one, based completely on your review of the movie, as I know absolutely nothing else about the movie other than your review of it, as I have immediately focused my atention elsewhere as soon as I see a talking rat. I've basically been doing the same with the Underdog ads and trailers also, and so I'll anxiously await your review of that as well. I don't trust the newspaper or television movie reviewers very much anymore, and so I'll trust your reviews for now until I find a reason to do otherwise. The rat movie will be a good barometer.
