A long time ago in a galaxy far, far... ah who cares

I decided that as Nick was truly enamored with the Star Wars toys and stuff, that he should at least see the first movie. Sarah, wasn't so sure that this as a good idea, she thought that certain scenes may be to much for him. But eventually I convinced her.

So we borrow the tapes from Phil and Nick is really excited. That is until the fighting stops and the plot has to be advanced through dialog. He is completely bored by the cantina scene and runs off to play in his room.

Apparently, his short attention span is more advanced than I had previously believed.

I know what you mean. My nephew Lucas Skyler (Take a wild guess who he's named after.) Who is at least 2 or 3 months younger than Nick. Absoultley loves any of the scenes with Darth Vader in # 4,5, & 6 but In 1 & 2 he only gets all excited over the battle scenes and the Pod Race. Any thing else is just too dull for him.

Well, you were six when you first watched Star Wars. Maybe you just need to wait a couple years.

Maybe Jedi would be a better film for him to watch. Teddy bears and a music video with an excellent spaceship battle at the end.
