The value of beer

Last weekend I helped my in-laws move from Pottsville, PA to Niles, MI. For those who don't know, Pottsville is the home of Yuengling Beer, the oldest continiuosly operating brewery. In fact, for their first year there they lived basically across the street from the brewery. Another thing about Yuengling is that they distribute on the East Coast. And they don't distribute to Michigan, Illinois and/or Oklahoma. Everytime we went for a visit, I had to take the free tour and get some beer.

It's good beer.

So they are moving from the heart of Yuengling Country to a place where they can't get it at all. Well as insentive for getting me to help, I was promised beer. So we get there, we unload the truck, we bring it all inside and awaiting me is... a six pack?

Now, my in-laws are not drinkers. But come on. Heck, I got almost a whole case of great mircobrews from Phil when I helped him move. Yes, I did give him a list of brands, but he came through with the beer.
