I don't even know who this guy is...

Jay linked to a test to see which theologian you are most like. I'm apparently Anselm. But I have no idea who he is.

You scored as Anselm. Anselm is the outstanding theologian of the medieval period. He sees man's primary problem as having failed to render unto God what we owe him, so God becomes man in Christ and gives God what he is due. You should read 'Cur Deus Homo?'

I was Paul Tillich, "who sought to express Christian truth in an existentialist way. Our primary problem is alienation from the ground of our being, so that our life is meaningless. Great for psychotherapy, but no longer very influential" it says.

Actually, I had Martin Luther and Tillich both at 73%. You had them at 67% and 33%.

    Where's the Brady Kid quiz?

    Pete:
What does it mean that a Lutheran scored closer to Calvin than Luther -- and closer to a Medieval theologian than either one? (-:

Do the book meme thing, too!

    Best,

    This is mine:

    You scored as Augustine.

You have a big view of God and also take human sin and depravity very seriously. Predestination is important for you.
