Largest number of dillusional kids gather in Bergen

In Norway 3,638 schoolchildren broke the record for the number of schoolchildren playing recorder together. Click here for story. They played the traditional childrens' song "The bear is snoozing"

According to the story in the Norway Post "This is the world's coolest world record, they stated." They are wrong.

You're correct. If it were 3,638 Jessica Alba lookalikes wearing Hooters girl uniforms and wearing roller skates playing "The Bear is Snoozing" on recorders, THEN it would be the world's coolest world record. And they should all be wearing Cubs caps.

I think those Norskees should try to turn group recorder playing into an Olympic event, so that they can be good at something besides just skiing. I just haven't worked-out the Olympic selection strategy yet. If they work it into the Summer Olympics, then the country could win at least one event in the competition, and the TV networks could bump the group recorder playing competition next to the ballroom dancing or Ultimate Frisbee competition. Or, they could try to bump-up their medal count at the Winter Olypics by entering it there, mabe next to the Lap Dancing, I mean Ice Dancing competition.
