Blackhawk's toying with me again

Earlier this year the Hawks were playing inspired hockey. They started real strong, but then they began their fall. Havlat went down, Vrbata went down, Handzus is out for the season, Khabibulin went down. They lost a slew of games. Finally they fired Yawney.

But a new day seems to be dawning. They hired Savard and in seven games have gotten at least a point in every one. Havlat and Khabibulin came back and tonight they play Detroit. Let's hope they can keep it up.

Who are the Blackhawks (Hawks?) again? I thought that they were an old Chicago hockey franchise that shut-down and went out of business around the time during the player lockout a few years ago, and then reestablished themselves as the Chicago Wolves at the Rosemont horizon? The Blackhawks don't exist anymore, do they? Do they still play games at the United Center, I never see them on TV? The other day I was watching a Wolves game on TV, and noticed that they re-hired back their old Blackhawks TV announcer, Pat Foley. That must be it, the Chicago Blackhawks must have become the Chicago Wolves. That reminds me, I need to go and pick-up some Wolves tickets. I wonder if they kept thier old slogan, "Cold Steel on Ice?"

Enjoy the game, the seats are really cool.

But two things. As for the pictures they did hassle us a little, but when we pointed to the letter I received only prohibited flash photography they let us take pictures without the flash. All of the pictures on the blog were done without a flash.

Second, the only time when the seats were a hassle is when play would proceed into the offensive zone of the team whose bench was in that direction. The players can lean over the wall a get a better look, you can't because the glass prevents you from doing so.
